Renault Scoops Three Major Wins at the 2025 Autotrader Drivers’ Choice Awards

Renault is celebrating a remarkable trio of award wins at this year’s Autotrader Drivers’ Choice Awards, with both the Renault 5 E-Tech electric and Scenic E-Tech electric taking centre stage, alongside recognition for the brand’s industry-leading commitment to sustainability.

The all-new Renault 5 E-Tech electric has been named Editor’s Choice, praised for its fun character, affordable starting price of £22,995, and impressive range of up to 252 miles. Autotrader’s Editorial Director, Erin Baker, explained the decision by saying:
“As soon as it was announced, everyone that remembered the original hoped it would be just as thrilling. And Renault has nailed it. It’s impossible to drive the Renault 5 E-Tech electric without a huge smile on your face, so for me, there really was only one winner this year.”

Adding to the celebrations, the Renault Scenic E-Tech electric has been crowned Best Car for Long Distances. With prices starting from £37,195 and a driving range of up to 381 miles, Scenic has already built a strong reputation for its family-friendly interior and clever technology. This latest award is especially significant as it was based on the real-world opinions of more than 225,000 UK car owners who shared their experiences in Autotrader’s extensive survey.

Rounding off Renault’s success was the Sustainability Initiative Award, recognising the brand’s forward-thinking approach to decarbonisation. The spotlight was on the Renault Emblème concept, which showcases eco-design, recycled and recyclable materials, and new technologies that combine sustainability with comfort and style. Independent judges from The Carbon Literacy Project praised the concept for setting “a clear pathway for the future” of the industry.

Commenting on the triple win, Adam Wood, Managing Director of Renault UK, said:

Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
