Dacia Supports Adventurer Akke Rahman on Quest to Conquer K2

Dacia, the car brand with a spirit for adventure, is proud to support record-breaking UK mountaineer Akke Rahman as he sets off to climb K2, one of the most challenging mountains in the world.

Known as “The Savage Mountain,” K2 (8,611m) is considered even tougher than Everest due to its steep slopes, technical climbing, and unpredictable weather. Akke, who became the first British Muslim to summit Everest in 2022, will face a demanding ascent, navigating rock, ice, and extreme altitudes, while testing both his physical and mental endurance.

Akke’s journey in mountaineering began just six years ago with Mount Snowdon (1,085m). Since then, he has climbed Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro, Mount Elbrus, and Everest – raising over £1 million for charity along the way. His determination and achievements have inspired countless people to embrace the outdoors, no matter their background or experience.

A proud member of the Dacia Adventure Community, Akke joins a group of like-minded adventurers, from weekend hikers to marine biologists and car campers, all embracing the outdoors and taking on real challenges that reflect Dacia’s love for exploration and adventure.
