Dacia Sandriders Strengthen 2026 Line-Up with Rally Stars Lucas Moraes and Dennis Zenz
Dacia Sandriders Welcome Rally Stars Lucas Moraes and Dennis Zenz for 2026 Season
The Dacia Sandriders team has announced two exciting new signings for the 2026 FIA World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC): Brazilian driver Lucas Moraes and German navigator Dennis Zenz. Their arrival marks another big step in Dacia’s growing ambition to challenge for top honours in world rally-raid competition.
Moraes and Zenz will join an impressive four-car line-up that includes Cristina Gutiérrez and Pablo Moreno, Nasser Al-Attiyah and Fabian Lurquin, plus Sébastien Loeb and Édouard Boulanger. Together, they form one of the strongest teams in the championship.
At 35 years old, Moraes already has an outstanding record. He achieved a podium finish on his Dakar Rally debut in 2023 and finished third overall in the 2024 W2RC standings. His first W2RC victory came at Rally-Raid Portugal, confirming his reputation as one of the sport’s brightest talents.
Zenz, also 35, is a highly respected co-driver who helped Seth Quintero to a class runner-up finish in the 2023 Dakar Rally and secured several podiums in 2024 and 2025.
Tiphanie Isnard, Team Principal of The Dacia Sandriders, said:
“Rally-Raid is more competitive than ever, so expanding to four cars was a natural next step. Lucas and Dennis both have the performance, attitude and teamwork spirit that make them a perfect fit for our project.”
Frank Marotte, Dacia VP Sales, Marketing & Operations, added:
“Winning the Dakar Rally in 2026 is part of our long-term goal. Lucas and Dennis truly reflect Dacia’s spirit: adventurous, grounded and focused on what matters.”
With Moraes and Zenz joining the team, The Dacia Sandriders are ready for the next chapter of their Dakar journey and a strong challenge in the 2026 season.
